SLALOM PRE-WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008

The Slalom Pre-World Championships to be held in the Olympic Parc del Segre, from the 11th to the 13th of July 2008, will offer to the Slalom World an attraction more than usual in La Seu d´Urgell: to be the prelude of the Slalom World Championships that will be held, in the same place, the following year.

This will be another occasion to live the emotions that always offer the world of competition in Slalom and for this purpose the Organising Committee will dedicate all his effort with the aim that athletes and supporters can enjoy this event.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude on behalf of all of the Canoeing family that will be gather in La Seu d´Urgell, one more year and makes this illusion come true.

The competitions have 4 individual categories. Canoe comes from former boats of America and Pacific Ocean. Kayak comes from the evolution of boats of arctic inuit people.
